Our Guild in Stitches

​Tarheel Quilters Guild is a creative and welcoming community of quilters who gather to learn, sew, share, and serve. Our gallery highlights the quilts, projects, events, workshops, community service work, and special moments that make our guild so meaningful.

From Show and Tell quilts to Community Sew Day projects, workshops, challenges, Block of the Month blocks, and Quilt Fest memories, these photos celebrate the creativity, talent, and fellowship of our members.

Member Quilts & Show and Tell

​Show and Tell is one of the best ways to see the creativity and talent of Tarheel Quilters Guild members. Members share finished quilts, quilt tops, works in progress, challenge pieces, blocks, bags, wall hangings, and other sewing or quilting projects.

Each project tells a story, whether it is a family gift, a charity quilt, a new technique, a favorite pattern, or a long-awaited finish. This section celebrates the work our members create and the inspiration they share with one another.

Workshops and Programs Gallery

​Our workshops and programs give members the opportunity to learn new techniques, try creative projects, and share ideas with one another. This gallery section highlights the hands-on learning, demonstrations, guest instructors, Block of the Month projects, challenges, and special guild activities that happen throughout the year.

Community Service 

​Community service is one of the most meaningful parts of Tarheel Quilters Guild. This gallery section highlights the quilts and handmade items our members create for local families, veterans, and community organizations.

Photos may include NICU quilts, veterans' quilts, Meals on Wheels placemats, NICU Christmas stockings, Community Sew Days, donation deliveries, and members working together on service projects.

 Special Events & Outreach

Tarheel Quilters Guild participates in special exhibits, outreach events, community displays, and public programs throughout the year.  This section highlights those events and the guild's connection to the broader Fayetteville arts and quilting community.

Joined by Stitching: A Quilter's Art Exhibition 

​Tarheel Quilters Guild was proud to be part of Joined by Stitching: A Quilter’s Art Exhibition, presented with the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. This juried exhibition celebrated the creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship of contemporary art quilting.
The exhibition featured quilts ranging from abstract designs to narrative, pictorial, and experimental textile art.
Exhibition Dates: April 10, 2026 to May 10, 2026
Venue: The Arts Council, 301 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301

Quilt Fest 

Quilt Fest is one of Tarheel Quilters Guild's special celebrations of quilting, creativity, and community. 

Next Quilt Fest: June 11-12, 2027

We had a wonderful show and appreciated everyone who participated, volunteered, entered quilts, visited, or helped make the event possible.
